Well, my HSG is scheduled for Friday. I have to get there a half hour early and am supposed to take 800mg of ibprofen about 45 minutes before. Kim said (and I've read) that for some people it doesn't hurt at all, for others it can be a nightmare. Part of that depends on who is doing it and how good they are, and if there is any blockage.
